Purpose:
The Keyhole Reservoir Fishing Association is a non-profit fishing and conservation organization dedicated to ensuring a high-quality fish population at Keyhole Reservoir now and in the future, not only for us, but to conserve the legacy of fishing for our children and our children's children.
Objectives:
1) To restore, improve, and protect fishing habitat with the goal of self-sustaining, healthy populations;
2) To support and encourage ethical behavior and public awareness among fishermen and others whose actions affect fish.
3) To encourage and support reliable fish management with government agencies and private organizations;
4) To promote public education and scientific research related to fish management;
5) To encourage and support improvements to the area with government agencies and private organizations

Keyhole Reservoir:
Approximately 13,000 acres of excellent fishing opportunity for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Channel Catfish. The lake also contains crappie, fresh water drum and perch.

The reservoir is located on the Western edge of the Black Hills, Southwest of Devils Tower National Monument, and is easily accessed from Interstate 90 at Moorcroft, Wyoming.by taking exit 153 coming from the west or exit 154 coming from the east. Then from the center of Moorcroft take U.S. 14, North, towards Devils Tower National Monument, a distance of 5 miles to State Highway 113. Then East a distance of 5.1 miles to the Pine Haven Road. Then it is a distance of 2.5 miles to the center of Pine Haven, Wyoming with access to the Wind Creek and Coulter Bay Camp Grounds and Boat Ramps. It is also easily accessed from I-90 at exit 165 by taking the Pine Ridge Road six miles north to the State Park Headquarters and the Marina.

FISH MUST BE DEAD BEFORE TRANSPORTING

Anglers are alerted their fish must be dead in Wyoming before being transported from the water they were caught in. Anglers cited for transporting live fish from the water where caught could be fined up to $400.

Free fishing day!
This is one day each year when anyone can fish without purchasing a fishing license.
The State's Game and Fish want's to provide an opportunity for people to enjoy Wyoming's outstanding fisheries and remind everyone that fishing is a great way to relax and connect with family and friends.

You can fish without having to buy a license on free fishing day! Held in conjunction with National Recreational Fishing and Boating Week, free fishing days are designed to educate people about fish habits and methods of catching fish. All fishing regulations, such as creel and size limits, gear restrictions, fishing hours, and stream closures remain in effect.
