Keyhole Country Club
Keyhole golf course

The Keyhole golf course in Pine Haven is a Par 35, 9-hole regulation course against a background of unbroken scenic views of the Northern Black Hills and Keyhole Reservoir. This course is built on semi-rolling terrain and medium-sized greens. The fairways are open, and ditches or a creek, come into play on two holes. The short layout will reward good shots and provide a fun golf outing for everyone. The course rating for Men is 64.3 & Ladies are 64.5. Yardage Markers are Red 100 yards & White 150 yards.
The Clubhouse has a bar and café with golf carts for rent, and the public is welcome. With daylight stretching to 16 hours per day in the summer and temperatures averaging in the mild 70's, anytime is a good time to play your rounds.

Enjoy the great outdoors, sunsets and time by the lake to relax with two accesses to Keyhole State Park from Pine Haven and two boat launching areas. Keyhole State Park offers many attractions and is located on the western edge of the famed Black Hills where you'll find something for everyone from wilderness campsites with fire rings, picnic tables and restrooms on the Pine Haven peninsula with a hiking trail. On the Headquarters side of the lake a short drive to Pine Have for any supplies that you might need are developed camp sites with play grounds for the kids and hiking and biking trails.

Water sports
Boating, Personal Watercraft, i.e., jet skis, wave runners and Water Skiing. With the beach area restricted to Swimming only.

Fishing

Fishing can lead to the trophy of a lifetime and a 20 lb fish is always possible. We've seen several Walleye in the 10 lb. class come out of this lake and the State record Northern Pike was caught here. The lake also has crappie, smallmouth bass and catfish. Fishing licenses are also available over the counter in Pine Haven.

Photography
Wildlife photography is popular as Keyhole is a Mecca for both resident and migrating birds of all species which is a Bird Watchers Paradise for the casual bird watchers or professional ornithologists. Visitors also have the opportunity to view many types of wildlife including mule deer, white tailed deer, Pronghorn Antelope and wild turkeys. Make sure your camera and binoculars are ready to go.

For the winter months popular activities are.
Ice Fishing, Ice boating, Cross Country Skiing, Snowmobiling.



HUNTING
Pine Haven Wyoming is popular with hunters in Wyoming,

Located in Deer Area 3 on the Western Slope of the Black Hills with both mule deer and whitetail's in the area and within driving distance of areas 1,2,4,7,18,19, and 24.

Also located in Antelope Area 3. You are within easy driving distance of areas 4,5,7,18,19, and 24.

Merriam's turkeys are available around here also, and Turkey licenses are general season & available over the counter in Pine Haven.
