Coulter Bay — Wind Creek — Keyhole Marina — Pats Point
WIND CREEK AREA: — Map it
This area located on the west side of Pine Haven has 16 undeveloped campsites with fire rings, picnic tables and restrooms and most of the campsites are in or near the pine trees, with the Boat Ramp in the area being useable only when the reservoir is nearly full at a minimum launch elevation of 4,091 feet is more like being in the wilderness, then any other area of the park.
This area is easily accessed from Interstate 90 by taking exit 153 if your coming from the west. Then turn right a distance of 1.2 miles to the center of Moorcroft. Then turn left and go north on U.S. 14 towards Devils Tower National Monument, a distance of 5.1 miles to State Highway 113. Then turn right and go east a distance of 5.1 miles to the Pine Haven Road. Then turn left and go north a distance of 2.1 miles to Waters Drive. (One block before you get to "R" Place Bar & Grill.) (click here for map) Then turn left in the center of the town to the Wind Creek camping area. If you are coming from the east on Interstate 90 you can take exit 165 and turn right on Pine Ridge Road and go north 3.6 miles to the Old Sundance Road Then turn left and go west 4.0 miles to the Pine Haven Road. Then turn right on Pine Haven Road to Waters Drive.
There is NO drinking water in this campground.

COULTER BAY AREA: — Map it
This area located on the east side of Pine Haven is used as a major boat launch area and has 16 undeveloped campsites; half are walk in tent camping along the rock cliffs with each site having a fire ring and a picnic table, with restrooms and water hydrants being near by.
The area is easily accessed from Interstate 90 by taking exit 153 if your coming from the west. Then turn right a distance of 1.2 miles to the center of Moorcroft. ARCH ROCK AREA: — Map it
The Arch Rock camping area is the first camping area located on the right side of the road past the State Park Headquarters, with 13 campsites and gravel pads, one universally accessible site with cement pad, fire rings, picnic tables with restrooms and water hydrants are spaced through out in the campgrounds. There is one pull through campsite and there is overflow parking for extra vehicles. Most of the campsites are in the pine trees and when the reservoir is full, there is easy access to the water. The State Park Headquarters and the Marina are easily accessed from Interstate 90 at exit 165 by taking the Pine Ridge Road 5.8 miles North to the Park Headquarters Entrance

TATANKA CAMPGROUND AREA: — Map it

The Tatanka camping area is the second camping area located on the right side of the road past the State Park Headquarters. There are 33 campsites with gravel pads, two universally accessible sites with cement pads, fire rings, picnic tables and restrooms. The water hydrants are easily accessible to the campgrounds. There are five tent campsites with one universally accessible tent site, fire rings and picnic tables. There is also overflow parking for extra vehicles. Most of the campsites are in the pine trees with a few without shade. There is a universally accessible shelter that is day-use only and can be reserved. When the reservoir is full there is easy access to the water. The area is easily accessed from Interstate 90 at exit 165 by taking the Pine Ridge Road 5.8 miles North to the Park Headquarters Entrance
Reservations can be made for arrival dates through September 15 by calling the reservation center at (877) 996-7275 or going online to http://www.usedirect.com/cdweb. Reservations can also be cancelled online, but other changes must be made through the reservation center. Several sites may be reserved with a single call, but payment of reservation fees for all sites is required before confirmation is made.

PAT'S POINT AREA: — Map it
The Pat's Point camping area is the first road on the left side past the State Park Headquarters. There are 45 sites; some have been developed and have a gravel pad while others are on the grass. All the sites have fire rings and picnic tables, with restrooms and water hydrants spaced throughout the campground. Some of the sites are in the trees while most are out in the open. The campsites have easy access to the reservoir and a public boat ramp in this area when the reservoir is full. This area is easily accessed from Interstate 90 at exit 165 by taking the Pine Ridge Road 5.8 miles North to the Park Headquarters Entrance.
There is a shelter area that can be reserved.

PRONGHORN AREA: — Map it
The Pronghorn camping area is the third camping area located on the right side of the road past the State Park Headquarters and within easy walking distance to the Keyhole Marina and Boat Ramp. There are 33 campsites with gravel pads, two universally accessible sites with cement pads, fire rings, picnic tables and the restrooms and water hydrants are spaced throughout the campgrounds, with overflow parking, for extra vehicles and a universally accessible playground equipment at the campground, Most of the sites are back-in with a few pull-through sites. The campsites are located in the pine trees and the access to the reservoir water is more difficult in this area because of the terrain. The area is easily accessed from Interstate 90 at exit 165 by taking the Pine Ridge Road 5.8 miles North to the Park Headquarters Entrance.

BEACH AREA: — Map it
The Beach Area is located across from the Pronghorn camping area, with six sites that are not developed; so, there is no pad and the ground is not level. There are fire rings, picnic tables and the restroom and water hydrant is within close walking distant to the campground. The sites are in or near the pine trees and all sites are within easy walking distance of the beach and the Keyhole Marina Boat Ramp. The area is easily accessed from Interstate 90 at exit 165 by taking the Pine Ridge Road 5.8 miles North to the Park Headquarters Entrance.

HOMESTEAD AREA: — Map it
There are 40 campsites with gravel pads and three universally accessible sites with cement pads, fire rings, picnic tables, restrooms and water hydrants spaced throughout the campgrounds. The sites are in or near the pine trees. Most of the sites are back-in, but there are a number of them that are pull-through. The campsites are away from the reservoir. The Homestead camping area is past the State Park Headquarters which is easily accessed from Interstate 90 at exit 165 by taking the Pine Ridge Road North 6.23 miles to the first camping area on the left past the Park Headquarters Entrance.

COTTONWOOD AREA: — Map it
There are 35 undeveloped campsites with fire rings, picnic tables, restrooms,and water hydrants throughout the campgrounds. There is universally accessible playground equipment located in the middle of the campgrounds. There is no easy access to the reservoir. The campsites are in among the pine trees. The Cottonwood camping area is past the State Park Headquarters which is easily accessed from Interstate 90 at exit 165 by taking the Pine Ridge Road North 7.1 miles to the second camping area past the Park Headquarters Entrance.
There is a shelter that can be reserved.

There are 22 undeveloped campsites with fire rings, picnic tables, restrooms and water hydrants throughout the campgrounds. Most of the sites are out in the open but have easy access to the reservoir. The Rocky Point camping area is located near the Dam past the State Park Headquarters which is easily accessed from Interstate 90 at exit 165 by taking the Pine Ridge Road North 7.1 miles to the second camping area past the Park Headquarters Entrance.
